Japanese HC ferromanganese makers to hike price - 01 Jul, 2008
It is reported that Japanese major ferroalloy makers are in talk with their buyers for the price hike of high carbon ferromanganese.
According to the report, the makers are intending to raise the price of JPY 90,000 per tonne to JPY 100,000 per tonne at the new price level of JPY 370,000 per tonne to 390,000 per tonne for July to September shipments.
The new price is to meet the higher international price. Because of the strong demands and the higher cost for ore and electricity, the manganese ferroalloy price is moving up in higher path.
